Kim trained and graduated as a Child and Youth Worker at Humber college and worked as a case manager for a foster care agency, a therapist in a therapeutic activities agency, and has been in various other youth and family mental health counseling positions. Taking a break from the field led her to a culinary job for a time before she decided it was time to get back to her passion – people. As a natural planner and leader Kim brings focus, organization, and a love for a fun activity to her role as Program Manager. Here’s her main attitude about ALAS:
“As we grow we will follow our moral mandate to continue to make mutually transforming relationships, practice radical compassion, and have so much fun doing it. All of you are witnessing a revolution in care, and groundbreaking acceptance towards all members of our community.”
Kim is passionate about family, friends, her golden doodle, teaching and doing yoga, and studying for her Bachelor of Arts Degree.
